Our Story

Secret spilled: Fat Aunty is not actually Fat. We've been baking for few decades and started sharing our goodies with the world for about a decade now. Read below if you are keen to understand the history behind Fat Aunty!


Fat Aunty's journey

  • In the 1950s, Fat Grandma shared the products from her passion for baking with her neighbours in the Kampung. After trying her Pineapple Tarts, the Kampung would always ask for more and more, and even look forward to her Pineapple Tarts every Chinese New Year.

  • Following Fat Grandma's footsteps is her daughter - Fat Aunty. Both had the same immense love for food and baking. Fat Aunty, in particular, loves exploring the combinations of different unique flavours. Her creations surprises and intrigues her relatives and friends all the time.

  • Each piece of Pineapple Tart, cookie and snacks is handmade by Fat Aunty with tender love and care. She believes that her bakes are tasty solely because she puts her heart and soul into her baking.

  • After recieving many praises and strong encouragement from her close relatives and friends, Fat Aunty finally decided to set-up a humble home business to share her creations with the rest of Singapore since 2013. Its been 10 years!
